As you may remember, Meek Mill visited Detroit last summer and it did not end on a good note. The rapper came here to perform at St. Andrews and he had a few things to say about one of Detroit’s legendary venues. “Sorry to the fans tonight it was a good show …but that venue was dirty wit no a.c in there…I’ll come back and do a free show one day!” Fans were not happy about this comment and of course you know responses came out on twitter. A fan responded, “ummm ..how bout, classic venue, where legends have played…it was 65degs, didn’t feel dirty, but whatevers.”

These slandering comments against Detroit left a bad taste with Detroit fans, guess he didn’t care about being invited back with a warm welcome.
To add fuel to the fire, recently Meek Mill has also upset fans over demanding a fee to take a photo with him. Meek has been on the wild with his approach and attitude towards his supporters.
All hope is not lost, Meek Mill was a man of his word and returned to Detroit for a free concert at St. Andrews for Wayne State University Students. Meek proceed to tweet on April 11,” DETROIT MEET ME AT SAINT ANDREWS HALL FOR THE DREAMS COME TRUE TOUR ITS GONNA BE A MOVIE !!” a fan responded, ” You gonna refuse to perform again?”. Although some fans are still a little bitter, Meek payed hommage to the city by posting a picture rocking iced out Cartier frames with a caption that said, ” In Detroit buffed up! So a turn around indeed has happened for Meek and the way he feels about Detroit. This really seems like an honest try to prove to fans he didn’t mean any harm with the comments from his last visit! Wayne State student’s were extremely excited for his arrival,” @meekmill concert was great tonight, he need to come to #WSU more often.” Great job Meek Mill, keep up the positive attitude toward fans!
