Triple threat J. Drew garnered praise from Pharrell Williams as the first and youngest producer signed to the StarTrak Label and continues to set himself up to take over the game as he prepares to premiere his new Docu-Series, ‘The Sheards’ which aired Sunday April 7th at 10pm on BET, along with his family. The series, co-starring J. Drew’s mother, gospel legend Karen Clark Sheard and sister, Kierra Sheard, will follow the young 23-year-old singer/musician/producer as he breaks away from the fold and prepares to release his debut R&B EP with Detroit indie label LiveTMG.

Lately J. Drew has certainly been stepping out of the shadows and legacy built by his mother, gospel superstar singer Karen Clark-Sheard and father, Bishop J. Drew Sheard. For example, BET has documented “The Sheards” a family-faith based series starring J. Drew and sister, Kierra Sheard as they they focus on balancing family and personal issues while making their marks on the music industry. You can catch them on BET every Sunday at 8p/7c.

Being the first and youngest producer signed to Pharrell Williams’ Startrak label, there was never any question about the talent he posses. Fresh off a newly inked deal with Live The Music Group, J. Drew is finally ready to let the world into his space with his Debut Project, Never Coming Back coming May 2013.
