Could Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne become the next Sports Center star for ESPN?
His early post-season prediction of the San Antonio Spurs making it to the NBA Finals turned into reality last night (May 27).
Earlier in the month, Wayne predicted the Spurs would make it to the NBA Finals next week but eventually lose to the Miami Heat.
The South Beach resident believes that LeBron James and the Miami Heat are the clear-cut favorite to take the basketball crown.
“C’mon man, you know you can’t beat that machine out here in Miami man. Nobody can beat that machine. I have yet to see someone beat that machine,” he said. “I think the [San Antonio] Spurs will give them a run for their money but, that machine, the Miami Heat.”
