If you were patiently waiting for Pusha T’s debut solo album, you might not want to hold your breath. The G.O.O.D Music signee stated in an interview with Power 88’s Danny Diaz that he will be pushing his album, “My Name Is My Name,” back a month due to all of the recent albums released. The debut album was scheduled for a July 16th release and will now be released in August.

“It’s been a lot of music coming out. You got the Ye album, the Cole album, the Wale. I think Hov’s dropping even on the 4th.”

Think Pusha’s scared of competition? Not exactly, Pusha explains that it’s all politics and logistics and he will in fact have the best album of the year. “My Name Is My Name” will feature the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Wale, Future and Jeezy.

We’ll just have to take Pusha’s word for it and hope he can back up everything he’s saying. Check out his first single off his long awaited LP, “Who I Am” featuring 2 Chainz and Big Sean below.
