Glenn LewisGrammy Award nominated artist/songwriter Glenn Lewis is back and the hearts of his loyal fans have only grown fonder in his absence.

In 2002, Glenn Lewis took the R&B music world by storm with the release of his critically acclaimed debut album, World Outside My Window (Epic Records). The project spawned the popular singles “It’s Not Fair” and “Don’t You Forget It,” with the latter peaking at #4 on the Billboard charts, landing the new crooner on a nationwide tour with mega star Alicia Keys.

Now Lewis is preparing the release of his sophomore album, “Moment of Truth,” coming out on the venerable Ruffhouse Records. Lewis makes a confident and dynamic return to the spotlight with the first single, “Can’t Say Love” which finds the singer caught up in a love triangle, currently #2 most added at Urban AC and #30 on BDS.

“Moment of Truth” features guest appearances by the likes of Melanie Fiona and the work of Grammy award winning multi-platinum producers Dre & Vidal (Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Destiny’s Child, Robin Thicke, Jill Scott), DJ Camper (Keyshia Cole, Tamar Braxton), Carvin Haggins & Ivan Barias (Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Raheem Devaughn), Certifyd (Lil Wayne, Meek Mill) and up-and-coming producers Matrax. Stand-out tracks include the island vibe tinged, “All My Love,” where Lewis teamed with fellow Toronto native Fiona for a duet that recalls the chemistry of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Raised in a West Indian household where R&B, soul, calypso, soca, and reggae shared equal space on the record shelf, it is not surprising that Lewis effortlessly blends the sonic echoes of a bygone era with a soulful contemporary aesthetic, traversing an ocean of clichés in the process. With his father being a member of popular Columbia Records vocal group, Crack Of Dawn, and his mother a singer-songwriter, the Toronto native was inspired by traditional soul and R&B music through artists like Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, and Charlie Wilson.

After exploring the world outside his window and subsequently coming back for more, Lewis is gearing up to prove that he deserves to earn a place among the music industry’s elite vocalists.
