too_short_mugToo $hort isn’t heading back to the slammer. The rapper made a plea deal for his DUI arrest in March.

This week $hort’s lawyer Keith Davidson got him to plead no contest to driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, which earned him three years of probation, fines and alcohol education classes. The other six charges from the arrest, including resisting arrest and possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) were dropped.

Too $hort dodged a huge bullet by escaping any jail time, especially since he has had multiple DUI arrests in the past. Hopefully this is the last time $hort Dog decides to drink and drive.

The ‘Blow the Whistle’ rhymer was initially arrested on suspicion of DUI in March and during the arrest, the Bay area native fled the scene. After he was caught and placed in a police patrol vehicle, cops found MDMA in the back seat. He denied the substance was his.
