Big Sean’s Hall Of Fame II show at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Saturday night was well worth it for over 12,000 fans. Although I was skeptical if Sean could top his legendary set at the Palace of Auburn Hills last December, he definitely came fully loaded with a fantastic show with a ton of great surprises. Even Big Sean’s dad hit the stage during “Fire.”

Not to mention his emotional moment he shared with his mother, Momma Myra, while performing “Memories“. I have seen him do this many times but it never gets old. I tear up every time! As journalist Adam Graham said,

“He talked in her ear and they laughed together like they were the only two people in the room.”

After a few minutes of embracing Big Sean insisted,”Y’all not gonna see me cry no more.”

Another moment in the show included Detroit’s own Boldy James, Oba Rowland, Doughboyz Cashout, Dusty McFly, Vezzo and Finally Famous own DJ Mo Beatz, A Dubb, Say It Ain’t Tone and Earlly Mac hitting the stage! Can I say, I absolutely love to see my people come together and put on for the city. SALUTE!

The biggest surprise for the crowd came when Drake joined Sean on stage for “All Me,” “Versace” and “Started from the Bottom.” Sean jumped off stage diving into the crowd during this part of the show. Epic moment for sure.

Shortly after, Nicki Minaj joined Big Sean on the stage performing “Dance (A$$),” and their new song “MILF” together.

The biggest highlight for me outside of seeing the up and coming talent from Detroit hit the stage was when Sean performed “Ashley” about his ex-girlfriend who is a phenomenal woman. What was interesting about this particular performance of “Ashley” was his current girlfriend Naya Rivera standing next to me completely vibe-ING to it. I even turned to her and said that was some “wild G shit.”Props to her because I couldn’t do it, but that is a whole other topic. Ha! Naya was completely on cloud nine the entire show saying, “It’s an awesome song!” So for many of you who have asked, after my time with the new couple, yes Big Sean and Naya are a real couple. It’s not a publicity stunt. They seem to be happy and have real feelings for one another.

I must also end this post thanking Big Sean’s management team Mike Brinks and Kevin Liles as well as Drew Dada from Def Jam, the whole crew for taking care of me, allowing me to capture these moments and making sure I was A1. LOVE!
