Seaside Heights, NJ

Sad news coming out of New Jersey today as an ice cream stand on the Seaside Park Boardwalk caught on fire and quickly spread to other structures. Fire departments were immediately called in but were forced to pull back as the flames simply got to be too powerful.

Take a look at the horrific situation in the video below.

This is so devastating because the boardwalk had just been refurbished after the terrible punishment it took from Hurricane Sandy. The people of New Jersey worked so very hard to rebuild the historic boardwalk landmark back up after it’s unfortunate demise last year.

This could not have been a more unfortunate situation. After all of their hard work in trying to restore the boardwalk for the Summer tourism season the boardwalk now lays in ruins only one week after Labor Day. We send our thoughts to the people of New Jersey and we know this boardwalk will rise from these ashes once again.
