Exit-205-300x200After months of construction, INDOT officials have reopened the Interstate 69 south exit ramp to State Road 37/116th Street today (Tuesday October 22).

Crew have reconstructed the road that passes under a new bridge in an effort to improve the flow of traffic from I-69. Traffic exiting the highway onto 116th Street was able to do so by using two lanes instead of one. A single lane on Ind. 37 south of 126th Street was reopened.

Crews planned to continue working on the rest of the interchange with overnight restrictions. INDOT says the $18 million improvement project was scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
