Last year, a high school student named Jessica Lee pulled a gangsta move (with a capital G) and snuck a Biggie quote under her Yearbook photo, with some help from the periodic table.

Now, Paris Gray, the senior vice-president of her class at Mundy’s Mill High School in Ga., may not be able to throw her cap in the air after writing “Back That Ass Up” in the nerdiest way possible for her yearbook quote.

But Gray didn’t just write the line made famous by the 1999 Juvenile classic verbatim. Her quote actually read: “When the going gets tough just remember to Barium, Carbon, Potassium, Thorium, Astatine, Arsenic, Sulfur, Uranium, Phosphorus.”

A quick flip back into your high school chem knowledge and the elements’ atomic shorthand spells out the ratchet message.

“Basically, it was me just saying start all over again,” Gray told WBSTV about her quote. “You have to go back and start all over.”

While administrators are up in arms about it, and have kept her from participating in the senior walk and giving an inspirational speech at the graduation ceremony, Gray’s mom, Zarinah Woods, reacted by simply saying, “My first reaction was, you are such a nerd.”

“It just completely destroyed me, and my mom’s been telling me don’t let it ruin my happiness but it’s like really taking a big toll,” added Gray.

Her mom reportedly met with the area superintendent and the principal Tuesday to determine if she will be banned from graduation.
