This wasn’t a good week for the NFL. A grand jury has indicted Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson with reckless or negligent injury to a child.
According to the police report, Peterson’s 4 year old boy was visiting him in Houston in May and beat with a branch from a tree that left him with numerous lacerations on his thighs, along with bruise marks on his lower back and buttocks and cuts on his hand.
Once the boy returned home to his mother in Minnesota, she took him to the doctor. Adrian Peterson admits to “whooping” the child.

This is my opinion. America, are we turning soft? I was “whooped” with a belt as a child. I was left with the same marks and I turned out fine. You know what happens when you don’t beat your kids with a switch? FIRE CHALLENGE GENERATION. I’m not saying I would beat my own child but as a kid, the belt was more effective than GO TO YOUR ROOM.
However, the boy is only 4 and Adrian Peterson is a massive man.
