August Alsina is still hospitalized after collapsing on stage Monday evening during a show in New York.
TMZ reported that the New Orleans singer suffered multiple seizures. One of Alsina’s reps explained that he is currently in ICU at a New York City hospital and receiving treatment. According to the rep, doctors did not find any drugs aside from marijuana in his system. At this time, they believe the fainting was triggered by exhaustion and dehydration.
This Friday August Alsina was scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis’ Old National Center for his “Testimony Live” tour, the show was postponed until October.
His and tourmate Teyana Taylor wished him well. “Yesterday was a long painful night…smh,” said Teyana. “Headed back to the hospital to check my lil homie @augustalsina He’s resting up. That’s all he needs, it’s been a long tour & incredible tour for us!! He appreciates everybody’s love, support and prayers. Thank You Guys!”
