Lecrae Moor, who is known as Lecrae, has his hands in many things when it comes to the world of hip-hop. He is the president, co-owner and co-founder of the independent record label Reach Records, and the co-founder and president of the non-profit organization ReachLife Ministries. To date, he has released seven studio albums and two mixtapes as a solo artist, and has released three studio albums, a remix album, and one EP as the leader of the rap group 116 Clique.
After steadily building a following during the last 10 years, Lecrae is truly changing the game with his astonishing lyrics that is continuously helping to bridge the gap between Christian and hip-hop music. On Thursday, Foolish of the Morning Heat, sat down with Lecrae, as he discussed his lyrical content, his Christian faith and his seventh studio album, “Anomaly” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with over 88,000 copies sold and No. 1 on the Top Gospel Albums chart, marking that the first time that any artist has ever topped both the 200 and Gospel charts.
