Loretta Lynch has been nominated to be the next Attorney General. If approved by the senate, Lynch will be the first black woman to be the Attorney General. President Obama expressed how he thought that Loretta was great for the position.
“It’s pretty hard to be more qualified for the job than Loretta,” Obama said.
Loretta will be take over for General Eric Holder who also made history as being the very first African American head of the Justice Department. Although Lynch have to wait to be official she is already getting things started.
“I will wake up every morning with the protection of the American people my first thought,” said Lynch.
Sources say that the White House are working very quickly to make things official.
