A teen in jail with his hands handcuffed behind his back

After trying to recover from the Ray Rice incident, the Baltimore Ravens have found themselves caught up in a new scandal. According to reports, the team’s security director has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at the Ravens’ stadium following a December game. The court documents, which were filed in Baltimore City District Court, claim that 48-year-old Darren Sanders kissed a 34-year-old woman’s neck and attempted to get her to touch his genital area. Although the woman involved in the incident told her co-workers what happened, and there is a witness who claims to have seen their interaction, Sanders is denying the allegations. “Mr. Sanders has worked his entire career to keep others safe as a police officer and as a detective with the Baltimore City Police Department and currently as the senior security director for the Baltimore Ravens,” his lawyers said in a statement. “He is a man who possesses tremendous integrity, and he has worked to ensure public safety by protecting the health, welfare and security of the community.” Sanders has been placed on paid leave.
