Taraji P. Henson Supports NOH8 Campaign
Empire scene stealer Taraji P. Henson is throwing her support behind the NOH8 campaign. The non profit organization was created bring awareness to support the rights of the LGBT community, after the passage of California’s controversial Proposition 8. Prop 8 was the state’s Constitutional ban for same-sex marriage, which has since been ruled unconstitutional in 2010. Both Taraji and her onscreen son Jussie Smollett (Jamal) have posed for pictures to bring awareness for the end of homophobia. Meanwhile, Empire’s ratings have yet AGAIN gone up. Last night’s episode snagged a total 11.36 million viewers, up from last week’s 11.07!
