Horoscopes for the week of March 1st

“It is possible to go beyond religion and become a prayer.” Sister Joan Chittister

I’ve decided to join a church. Not to feel closer to God or begin a religious practice (this church is non-denominational). But because I am desperate to be a part of a community where I can have experiences that are bigger than me. Where I can be inspired. Where I can be of service. Where I can experience enhanced spiritual growth, aligning myself with those who challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone and be all that makes me divine. I’m excited. I know this commitment will encourage me to begin fully applying my own soulful beliefs and practices – those of which you have read on this weekly blog – to my everyday life.

I must admit, however, that I am equally hesitant; mostly due to remnants of Catholic guilt that any former Catholic would understand, but mainly due to the acknowledgement that I will have to start living my soulful beliefs and practices even more openly and fearlessly. I’m nervous, too, about the obligations that come with joining a church. It’s not enough to just show up every Sunday and contribute to the weekly offerings. I would actually have to get involved – participate in different fundraisers, community events, and humanitarian causes. There’s also the possibility that I’d get to volunteer to teach a class on Astrology to interested members (oh, the pressure!). But really, such obligations are worthy, and if I don’t like it, I can always unjoin (free will is awesome).

In case you are wondering, my decision has been influenced by a growing need to give. I’ve spent a nice chunk of my time here on planet Earth pursuing many different ambitions, getting degrees, and climbing the ladder of achievement in the workforce. I’m a huge proponent of success in the traditional sense, with a sincere appreciation for all things measurable. But I’m ready for a new kind of experience now, one that has no tangible reward. I’m right on point with my evolution too, as we approach the Virgo Full Moon scheduled for this Thursday, March 5th.

Virgo the Virgin is concerned with purity and distillation. It’s a sign that likes to dissect a problem for the sake of identifying very simple solutions. This is how Virgo operates at best, feeling a sense of pride and purpose helping others with this approach. But opposed the Sun in Pisces, the Full Moon is asking us to transcend the details of practical service, identifying ways to self-actualize without the need to be self-gratified. The theme of this Full Moon in other words is selflessness: performing acts for others with minimal concern for personal gains. Your horoscopes this week explain how best to utilize this energy that comes with the promise of otherworldly returns. Don’t forget to read for your Ascendant sign too.

On the day you were born, all of the planets were positioned in the signs of the Zodiac – not just the Sun. To find out more about your full astrological make up, email Tracey for a personal Astrology reading at info@traceylrogers.com

Aries: Your health has been an issue of concern over the past few months, Aries. You have dealt with financial stress and periods of low energy that have contributed to unhealthy habits of the physical kind. The Full Moon this week will see to it that something shifts for you in the way of healthy living, and this time, there’s a promise of long-term sustainable results. How, you ask? By recognizing that spiritual mindfulness is equally as important as body awareness. Find the balance.   As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Taurus: You finally get a chance to tap into all that makes you authentic this week, Taurus. I’m sure you will appreciate this; life has been a bit too serious lately. Something culminates for you with a creative project FINALLY, or it could be that a new romance reaches a critical point of no return. As a practical and fixed sign, you tend to stick with what you know, even if it means ignoring your dreams for the future. I advise you to try a little wishful thinking, then, as these next steps unfold. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Gemini: It doesn’t matter if your career doesn’t look the way you want it to, or if your professional reality doesn’t fit your vision for the future, or if you don’t even have a vision for that matter! What’s important is having the proper personal foundations in place to promote certain external goals. You’ve been aiming high, but your inner needs have suffered in the process. Come back to your home base, Gemini, and focus on what really matters. From there, you can reach for the stars. Cancer: Talks or discussions surrounding practical matters will culminate this week, and it seems that activity in your immediate environment – your community, relationships with siblings, schools, or even local travel – will reach a conclusion. Remember, however, that your overall aim is to explore a new experience that would allow you to gain a broader awareness and understanding of something. Be careful, then, not to stick with your current level of knowledge. It’s ok to be curious. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Leo: As your priorities shift, so too will your values. You could be experiencing this more poignantly in an important relationship, or with regards to financial resources. No matter the circumstance, there is a strong desire to commit in love or money, and nothing surface or superficial will do. This is entirely possible, even more so as we approach a Solar Eclipse later this month. But you must first release that which blocks the development of bonds that tie – be it a limiting belief or attachment. Virgo: This week’s Full Moon lesson is simple, Virgo. If you wish for relationship bliss, you are going to have to let go of an inner need to control the process. Yours is a sign that is very detailed oriented. You operate by taking measured steps that make sense and involve some level of analytical logic. But love is illogical. It doesn’t make sense, and you can’t always calculate those next important steps. Get comfortable with surrender, Virgo. Surrender yourself for the sake of others. Libra: Some element of your psyche comes up for review around the time of this week’s Full Moon, and the purpose is for you to do some inner cleansing and releasing so that you can begin to intuitively navigate the next few weeks and months ahead. Your energy has been somewhat scattered Libra, and there’s a reason for it that has nothing to do with external limitations. Oh no, it’s more psychological. Devote some time to figure out what that is, and real progress will be made. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Scorpio: A wish that you’ve had for quite some time culminates this week. You either finally receive the cosmic support needed to bring your dreams to fruition, or you simply develop a deeper belief in an unfolding process that has your best interests at heart. Whatever the case may be, you will find that your experience brings a little light into your life, allowing you to refocus on creative projects, or even a budding romance. Something comes through for you Scorpio; a shift is in store. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Sagittarius: Work matters reach a finale this week, whether you’re finishing up an important project or moving on to a new position. The latter is what’s most likely in store, especially if your energy is more focused on home matters and tending to your family. No longer are you willing to sustain less than ideal working conditions at the expense of your emotional well being. Something will have to give; when all is said and done, an inner state of peace will be what’s most important. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Visit traceylrogers.com for details, and to schedule your FREE consultation.

Capricorn: If you’ve been focused on ways to expand your knowledge and broaden your life’s experience, decision time is coming during the Virgo Full Moon. No longer are you interested in anything mundane or superficial; you’re ready to step outside of the proverbial box in order to explore. Your motivation is admirable, but as an earth sign, you will of course need to tend to certain responsibilities in real time. You won’t have to give up on all your plans, just find a balance. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Visit traceylrogers.com for details, and to schedule your FREE consultation.

Aquarius: Slowly but surely, you are finally starting to see where your values lie and how you want to prioritize for the future. This could be from a financial standpoint, or with regards to an important relationship. While it’s great to have some level of clarity, don’t turn a blind eye to the fact that in order to maintain a sense of personal security, your investment in a shared resource or joint venture must shift or end completely. Whatever that is will be revealed during the Full Moon. As a professional Astrologer and certified Life Coach, my job is to empower you to live an empowered life! Visit traceylrogers.com for details, and to schedule your FREE consultation.

Pisces: There is always a point during your birthday month when energy shifts towards significant others. This happens around the time of a Full Moon, and we’ve got one scheduled in your opposite sign, Virgo, this Thursday. An important shift or conclusion is set to occur on the relationship front. Whether for business or pleasure, your focus will be on reaching a compromise. I wouldn’t worry so much about what that might entail, Pisces. Just do what you do best; put your trust in the process.
