It’s that time of year again, when many players are either very happy about their new contract or for som a big fat slap in the face that they are no longer the cream of the crop :( Terrell is finding that out now.
Teams may be making a mistake by dismissing Owens. He’s finally shown that he knows how to join a team, produce on the field and not be a distraction. It’s unfortunate that this knowledge has only come when his physical skills have started to diminish, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. He can still go. Some team will get him for a song, and be handsomely rewarded.
Terrell is still on the street, though. And not only that, since the Bengals took about 10 minutes to decide they’d prefer Bryant to Owens, there hasn’t been a mention of Owens visiting anyone else.
