Besides being a psychopath in summer film ‘The Perfect Guy’ with Morris Chestnut and Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy is set to have a new role as Civil Rights activist Dr. Gilbert Mason. The Golden Globe-nominated actor will star in “A Civil Right.” Dr. Gilbert Mason was the President of the Mississippi NAACP for three years before he died. During his prime of activism, Mason was number three on the FBI’s civil rights agitators most-watched list for fighting for equality.No word as of yet when the film is set to be released but cast members are still being added to the roster as of right now.
