To the family and friends of Amos Brown and Particularly his Radio One Indianapolis Family Members…

I give thanks and praise to God from Whom all blessings flow. It is with saddened hearts that the Radio One Family says goodbye to Amos Brown, a man whose life epitomizes leadership and service. Amos was a vital part of our family for 21 years. His work with Radio One enabled us to reach into many of your homes with empowering information and to serve your community. Amos used his voice to inform and inspire his listeners, convict and challenge the status quo and promote change. His countless contributions earned him numerous awards and the reputation of a thought leader, passionate advocate, and a man of great wisdom, judgment, and grace. His record of success made him a man of influence in Indiana, the U.S. and around the world.

He was someone we trusted to serve as our liaison to all of you because we knew he was a man of character whose passion to help his people was his driving force. There is no doubt that Amos Brown will be missed, but the contribution he made to Radio One and all of you will no doubt live on as a part of his rich legacy. Radio One and I were truly blessed by God to have had the opportunity to work alongside Amos Brown in the great city of Indianapolis, Indiana.
