As the world recovers from the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris last week, ISIS is already posing new threats. The terror group released a new video Monday that indicates they are looking to plot an attack on Washington D.C. The video shows coverage of the chaos in Paris and cuts to a man, recognized as Al Ghareeb the Algerian, telling countries that have come together against Syria to watch their backs. “We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” said Al Ghareeb. Police officials have beefed up security in Washington D.C., but said there are no signs of any specific danger. “The Metropolitan Police Department is working collaboratively with local and federal law enforcement and homeland security agencies to ensure the security of Washington, D.C.,” said a statement released by Capitol Police. The video also warned that Europe should expect more attacks. Read more.
