When Public Enemy couldn’t get a ride to their show on Saturday, Kevin Wells knew what had to be done.

Over the weekend, Chuck D and Flavor Flav had a concert in Sheffield, England. But their taxi flaked on them and their savior came in the form of a Ford Focus driven by Kevin, a 50-year-old photographer.

Kevin was at a record shop getting a CD signed by the iconic rap group when they mentioned they needed a ride to Sheffield Arena, where they were scheduled to open for The Prodigy in less than an hour. Kevin played taxi for the night, and was more than happy to do it.

It was very, very surreal. We all walked to the car ā€”Flavor Flav, Chuck D and two of their entourage ā€” and they all just piled in. I’m local to Sheffield so I know all the back streets to get there pretty sharpish so I didn’t feel too tense. I knew I could get them there in time,” heĀ told The Guardian.

The group talked and laughed during the 15-minute ride and even did some head banging when Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” came blaring through the radio. If only there was some video evidence.
