UFC 193: Rousey v Holm

Ronda Rousey will finally get the rematch she’s been waiting for. After suffering an embarrassing loss to Holly Holm this year, Rousey has an opportunity to redeem herself in their next showdown.

According to reports, Holly Holm will not be able to defend her Ultimate Fighting Championship title until Ronda Rousey recovers from the beating she gave her. Dana White, the president of U.F.C., told The Los Angeles Times that Holm’s first opportunity to defend her title against Rousey will come on July 9 in Las Vegas.

The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse is here and fans will not be disappointed. According to reports, this time around it’s not Jennifer Lawrence‘s Mystique who’s walking the line between good and evil, but Michael Fassbender’s Magneto who falls under the thrall of the mysterious Apocalypse.

The Bryan Singer-directed film hits theaters on May 27, 2016.

Paul Walker attends the 'Fast & Furious 6' World Premiere at The Empire, Leicester Square on May 7, 2013 in London, England.

Before the film’s release, Universal kept quiet about how exactly they created a life-like version of the late Paul Walker on-screen for Furious 7. VFX supervisor Joe Letteri from Peter Jackson’s Weta Digital revealed to THR, “We didn’t have everything you would have wanted from a reference and research perspective, when Universal and the filmmakers regrouped and decided they did want to finish the film and the Paul Walker story, we thought at most we could get one scene of a digital Paul that maybe had some dialogue in it, and we’d have to find other ways to finish the story.”

Letteri also said that Walker’s two brothers, Caleb and Cody, stepped forward, and “allowed us to scan them and work with them in the scenes, it really gave us something as close to Paul as we could hope for. That got us a long way toward being able to create a realistic character and performance.”

Ultimately, after Caleb and Cody performed their scenes, unused footage of Paul Walker in a similar shot was used at night, Weta adjusted the lighting, then Caleb’s head is replaced with Paul’s in the final shot. Now that’s what we call movie magic.

Warner Bros. has revealed the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on December 15th. The J.K. Rowling-penned spinoff is set to hit theaters on November 18th, 2016 with a star-studded cast including Colin Firth and Katherine Waterston.
