Man, we haven’t reached the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s untimely death, but that hasn’t stop his estate for making major moves in the music industry.
This week the estate of Jackson sealed a record breaking deal with Sony Music. The WSJ reports that Sony paid his estate a whopping $250M, that’s $250,000,000 for the rights to release 10 albums from Michael in he next couple of years.
Hiphopdx.com reports that Sony’s deal with the Jackson estate is considered the biggest record deal in history. It will include past songs as well as new and unreleased from Michael.
