Chance the Rapper is continuing on his winning streak. The rapper announced on Twitter that he will be hosting a new radio show on Beats 1 Radio called Worldwide Chi. As a celebration of hip hop, the iconic 1520 Sedgwick Avenue apartment complex in the Bronx is receiving a new name. Known for the massive block party DJ Kool Herc threw there in 1973, NY1 reports that the section of the street will be renamed “Hip Hop Boulevard.” According to City Councilman Vanessa Gibson, the street’s renaming is meant to honor both Herc and Bronx’s contribution to hip hop.
