Christian Combs will be following in the footsteps of his father, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. The 18-year-old just signed a record deal with his dad’s imprint Bad Boy Records and Epic Records.

Unlike most artists that use YouTube to showcase their music, Christian’s page shows the teen dancing and hanging out with his siblings and his friends. Nepotism was clearly at work with this deal because no one really knows if Diddy’s offspring has skills but Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid is on board with the latest venture.

The music legend sat next to Christian as he signed his life away. “Our ability to pass the torch to a new generation is what music history is all about. I have watched Christian grow into a very talented young artist and it fills me with great pride to share this with my brother and friend Puffy.”

In a press release announcing the new deal, Diddy said, “I couldn’t be prouder of Christian. He’s an incredibly talented artist with a bright future. Christian has earned this opportunity from hard work and dedication and he represents the future of Bad Boy.”

Christian also posted a photo of him signing his paperwork with the caption, “Yesterday was the greatest day of my life. Not only was it my birthday, but also the day a dream came true…”

“I’m extremely thankful for everything that God has blessed me with and I will never take it for granted. Music is something that’s been part of me my whole life.”

We wonder what happened to the music career of Diddy’s other son Quincy Combs. The “Dope” actor has released several singles that haven’t received much traction.

We’ve also seen a similar fate with Diggy Simmons, the son of rap legend Rev RunDiggy was signed to Atlantic Records and he had some modest success amongst the teen and tween demographic but he’s seemingly disappeared from the music scene.

Maybe Diddy’s youngest son will prove the haters wrong! Beauties, are you interested in hearing Christian Combs new music?
