After taking a four-day break from LIVE! with Kelly and Michael, Kelly Ripa has returned to her rightful place at the hosting desk.

Following speculation that she might not come back after being blindsided by Michael Strahan‘s seemingly sudden departure from the show, Kelly addressed the nation. She said the entire ordeal “started a much greater conversation about communication and consideration and, most importantly, respect in the workplace.

BET Awards '10 - Audience

We lost the legend Prince last week and we’ll miss him, but at least we have a few things to remember him. In addition to all of his music, performances, and iconic moments, fans may be getting a memoir.

Just ahead of his death, the Purple One announced his plans to release The Beautiful Ones come 2017. From THR:

Prince announced the surprise project — his first book — from the stage at an intimate show in New York City on March 18. “We’re starting from the beginning from my first memory and hopefully we can go all the way up to the Super Bowl,” he said, referring to his 2007 performance that many consider the greatest Super Bowl halftime show of all time. It’s unclear if any of the plans for Prince’s memoir will change. Random House and ICM Partners, which represented Prince in the book deal, told The Hollywood Reporter they are not commenting at this time. ICM’s Esther Newberg told The Wall Street Journal last month that Prince already had turned in the first 50 pages — if he had been recording his memories for Piepenbring to fashion into text (a common tactic for celebrity memoirs), then it is possible that more hours of tape exist to extend his story beyond those 50 pages. But if Prince was writing a draft from scratch, there might be less material for Piepenbring to work with. The writer did not return a request for comment.

Even a whiff of what Prince was working on would be dope. Read more here.

Game Of Thrones

It looks like all those Game of Thrones teasers worked after all.

According to new reports, the HBO series’ sixth season premiere set a new streaming record with over 10.7 million viewers.

“That number includes the on-air premiere, the show’s first two repeats and early returns from the network’s two streaming services, HBO Go and HBO Now. The tally does not include those who tuned into the premiere as part of HBO’s free preview weekend, which opened the service to non-subscribers (Nielsen does not include viewers who are not subscribed to HBO as part of the network’s ratings),” Entertainment Weekly notes.

Tune into Game of Thrones every Sunday.

A Beetlejuice-themed bar and restaurant is coming to New York City.

Called Beetle House, the hot new spot will open in the East Village later this month and feature signature drinks and a menu that pays homage to filmmaker Tim Burton.
