Chance The Rapper

Chance The Rapper‘s Coloring Book is all the rage right now, just ask Twitter.

The follow-up to the wildly popular Acid Rap includes guest appearances by everyone from Jay Electronica and Justin Bieber to 2 Chainz. But no collab was more anticipated than “All We Got,” which features Kanye West. Could the magic they made on “Ultra Light Beams” be repeated? Short answer: An excited yes.

In an hour-long interview Chance gave to Apple’s Zane Lane, he broke down how the track’s history. Two months ago, ‘Ye asked Chance to fly out to Los Angeles  to work with him for a few days. Chance immediately took up with his Social Experiment brethren  Nate Fox and Donnie Trumpet and decided a song they were working on for Grace Weber would now be Chance’s.

Chance, Nate and Donnie all went over to Kanye’s studio and after sitting around for a few hours talking, the track came to life. ‘Ye wasn’t a fan of the original drums, so he redid them and immediately went into the booth to freestyle his portion.

The Chicago MC revealed that he’s also working on a project with Kanye titled Good Ass Job—which is the name of a long-rumored Kanye album. There’s no telling if the project will now become a collab project.
