Thomas Hagan, the only man to admit being involved in the murder of Malcolm X, has been granted parole.

According to Hip-Hop Wired, Hagan will be released from prison on April 28th after being granted parole on March 3rd.

Hagan has recently been allowed to spend 12 hours a week in a work release program and to spend time at home with his wife and kids prior to being paroled.

Hagan, along with Norman 3X Butler and Thomas 15X Johnson – both of whom maintain their innocence, assassinated Malcolm X on February 21, 1965 in New York City’s Audobon Ballroom.
