For the last year or so, I have not purchased a handbag (purse). I have old purses in my closet that I refuse to let go of because I am a hoarder who has a hard time letting go of things. I mostly carry my authentic brown name namebrand wristlet I bought from a department store six years ago.

As a busy woman who rarely wears make up, I normally keep my silver handbag I bought two years ago from the thrift store and keep a few neccesity items in it. I keep that bag in my trunk and get things out when I need it. However, I just do not feel the need to carry a purse anymore.

In my early 20s, I always felt the need to carry a purse. I was taught that a lady should always keep a purse on her but I did not like how my purse would be the bag of EVERYTHING! When I say everything, I mean old candy, crumbs from an old cookie wrapped in a napkin, torn up mini-notebook and other miscellaneous items.

However, as I got older I began to hate carrying big clunky bags on my shoulder and having to keep up with it. Maybe I am lazy? I do not know but I would like to gain interest again and shop from Indianapolis’ So Anxious Clothing or some other local spot in Indianapolis for my next handbag.

Read about the 50 moments the handbag made the outfit and let me know what you think. Should I wear a purse or not?
