The past 72 hours have been heartbreaking for everyone, regardless of skin color or uniform color.  Violence continued last night when a sniper attack took place in Dallas during a peace march downtown. Leading to the death of five police officers and the wounding of seven others.  Along with the wounding of two civilians.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the protesters were chanting “Enough,is enough,””No more 444” (police code for officer-involved shooting), “Black Lives Matter,” and “No Justice, No Peace.”

After this terrorist attack, which is speculated to be at the hands of a few white men, “several activist say at least one of the shooters was white, prompting widespread speculation that the violence was intended to paint the movement as dangerous.” reported The Dallas Morning News.

The last few days have been hard for everyone and now we go on another day filled with sadness spread through out the nation. We as people need to come together and stop hurting one another. No person of any skin tone should instigate and pry on others moments of protest and peaceful marching in order to stir-up more pain. Innocent police officers were shot because of others trying to irritate the people who are already mourning and in pain. To quote President Barak Obama on the shooting, “it was a vicious, calculated, despicable attack on law enforcements.”

Let us now how you feel in the comments and on social media.
