Rapper Nipsey Hussle died Sunday after a shooting in Los Angeles near a clothing store he owned.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred in the area of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard around 2:30pm. Hussle was reportedly shot multiple times,, while, two other people were injured in the shooting as well.
All three victims were transported to a hospital, where Hussle of them was pronounced dead.
Hussle’s last message on Twitter read: “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
Hussle leaves behind two children, including a three-year-old son that he welcomed in 2016 with his longtime girlfriend, actress Lauren London.
London hasn’t said anything publicly about Nipsey’s shooting but our prayers and thoughts are with their family.
Rest in peace, Nipsey.
