I guess the jails in Britain don’t have to worry about over crowding because a couple was arrested in Dubai for kissing in public.
The couple was dining with friends at a local restaurant when a woman reportedly spotted the pair engaged in a kiss. The woman reported the incident to local police who swooped in for the arrest.
CNN reports that the couple lost an appeal on charges of public indecency. They were also accused of drinking alcohol in public, which carries a $300 fine. The couple will spend one month in jail and face deportation. They have 30 days to file a 2nd appeal.
