The Australian-born actor who’s known to avoid the movie star lifestyle is about to get his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Russell Crowe will be honored Monday in front of the Kodak Theatre — the same Hollywood and Highland venue where the Academy Awards are handed out every year.  Crowe won a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in the 2000 film, “Gladiator.”  Among those scheduled to pay tribute to the 45-year-old actor are Ron Howard and “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno.  Crowe’s is the two-thousand four-hundred and fourth [[ 2,404th ]] star to be placed on the Walk of Fame.
