A pair of pop and R&B divas could be lending their vocals to the upcoming movie “Sex and the City Two.”

According to London’s “Sun,” Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson are recording a duet that could serve as the film’s theme song.  A source tells the “Sun,” quote, “They each have incredible voices and will appeal to both the U.K. and the U.S.  It’s perfect for the next ‘SATC’ film.”

Jennifer Hudson is a familiar name when it comes to “Sex and the City” movie franchise as she played Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, Louise, in the first installment.  While Leona Lewis hasn’t been a part of the “Sex and the City” franchise, she’s no stranger to appearing on soundtracks.  She performed “I See You,” the theme song for the blockbuster hit “Avatar.”  Her hit single “Happy” was also used in Lee Daniels’ “Precious.”

“Sex and the City Two” – which stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon – arrives in theaters nationwide on May 27th.
