It wasn’t a pretty site for YouTube backyard brawling sensation Kimbo Slice. His dreams came true when he became an Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) fighter last year, but now those dreams have come to an end.
On Saturday night, Kimbo Slice fought his Ultimate Fighter cast mate Matt Mitrione in Montreal as part of UFC 113 and was soundly defeated in the second round by technical knockout.
In a post-fight interview, UFC Prez Dana White announced that Kimbo Slice was finished as a UFC fighter. White was respectful in his announcement and said he was glad he gave Slice a chance to compete, but, ultimately, Slice was old and his skills weren’t up to par on a UFC level.
