R. Kelly is making a contribution the next month’s World Cup in South Africa. He has a new inspirational tune called “Sign Of A Victory” to serve as the offical World Cup Anthem.
According to USmagazine.com, the singer will team up with a grupo of Afrincan singers to perfrom the song at the FIFA World Cup Ceremony on June 11th at Johannesburg Soccer City Stadium.
This is one of three official songs for the event, and Kelly says he couldn’t be happier to participate. He tells Usmagazine.com, quote, ” Africa has always had a special place in my heart, both musically and emotionally. So it means a lot to me to get to work with the Soweto Sprititual Singers and perform my song at this huge event”.
All proceeds from the sales of the tune will benefit various African charities.
