Hip-hop superstar T.I. will be releasing his new album, “King Uncaged,” this August, and fans can look forward to a few big name collaborations on the record.

“Tip” recently spent some time in the studio with pop diva Lady GaGa, and says the “Poker Face” singer was great to work with. T.I. says, “She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say.

She does everything that she needs to be done to ensure it happens. I think she’s an entertainer, in all aspects of the word.” T.I. says they’ve already finished a song titled “Lick It,” adding that they plan on reuniting and recording a few more tracks.

T.I. also has a duet with fellow rap star Eminem in the works, although they have yet to lay down any vocals. He explains, quote, “It’s in the making, it just hasn’t been recorded yet. The song has been picked out and its been agreed for us to do it. We’re thinking a song that can definitely make its way to the club.” T.I.’s upcoming album will also feature appearances from artists like Kid Rock, The-Dream, Keri Hilson, and Trey Songz.

One year ago today, T.I. began serving his 366-day sentence in Arkansas’ Forrest City Correctional Institute for federal weapons charges. He was moved to a halfway house in Atlanta last December, and released from police custody in March. T.I.’s “King Uncaged” is set to drop on August 17th.
