Fellow Indypost.com writer Dan Evon first broke the news and it’s now confirmed as an official announcement on Director Michael Bay’s blog that British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will take the new female lead in Transformers 3.
She has previously worked with Bay in a commercial for Victoria’s Secret, other than that in terms of acting credits, she has no other. So I guess we’ll have to wait and see the finished movie in order to have a verdict.
4 1/2 months would be spent filming Transformers 3 at the cost of $200 million and would take its stars ShiaLaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey to numerous other locations throughout the world including an undisclosed country in Africa. Transformers 3 is set to be released on July 1, 2011.
