The South will take center stage tonight as VH1 airs the special “Hip-Hop Honors: The Dirty South.”  Hosted by “The Office” star Craig Robinson, this year’s ceremony will pay homage to the contributions that artists from Southern states have made to the rap game.  Tonight’s honorees include Timbaland, Master P, Jermaine Dupri, 2 Live Crew, Luke Campbell, Organized Noize and J. Prince.  This evening’s ceremony will also feature performances from artists like Diddy, Drake, Bow Wow, Rick Ross, T-Pain and Flo Rida.  Pitbull, Missy Elliot, Gucci Mane, Lil Jon, Juvenile and Nelly are slated to take the stage as well.  Kid Rock, T.I., Lauren London and Eddie Griffin will also be in the house serving as presenters.  “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors: The Dirty South” airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
