Drake fans aren’t the only ones expecting the emcee’s debut album, “Thank Me Later,” to put up big numbers in its first week out. Compton rapper Game tell MTV’s “Mixtape Daily” that he expects the record to go gold right off the bat. He states, quote, “I got [him selling] over 650-thousand first week. That’s what I’m giving Drake: 650, man. Every now and then, a man comes along and reshapes hip-hop; this is the dude for this time.” Game points out that his debut album, “The Documentary,” moved 590-thousand units in its first week and his “buzz” wasn’t as big as Drake’s. Game adds that he wasn’t a fan of the Canadian rapper to begin with, but has grown to really enjoy his talent.

He remarks, quote, “he got something to say. I like it. He’s not from America, but you can tell his influences are us, and dude [is] dope. Plus, all the chicks like him.” Game will be releasing his own record this summer, as his “The R.E.D. Album” is expected in stores this August.
