T.I. is spending his summer months preparing his seventh studio album, “King Uncaged.” “Tip” isn’t eager to reveal too many details about the record, but says he still has to hit the studio with a few more big names before the album is finished.
“King Uncaged” will be T.I.’s first album since he was released from police custody in March after serving nearly a year for weapons charges. The record will feature the singles “I’m Back,” and the Keri Hilson-assisted “Got Your Back.” On Sunday night, T.I. performed the album’s other single, “Yeah Ya Know,” during the 2010 BET Awards. T.I.’s “King Uncaged” was originally scheduled for an August 24th release, but will now hit stores on August 17th.
