Ciara will be treating fans to her fourth studio release one week earlier than originally planned.  The singer took to her Twitter account over the weekend to announce that “Basic Instinct” will now be arriving in stores on August 17th.  Ciara writes, quote, “With the success of my single ‘Ride,’ the video, everything, we’ve decided to put out my album EARLIER!!”  She adds, quote, “We want for you to have the music we’ve been working so hard on earlier!! Yes! Let the promo begin! It’s time for you to see me perform ‘Ride’! It’s time for me to hit the stage!  It’s time for us to have fun baby!” 

“Basic Instinct” was first scheduled to arrive in stores on August 24th.  The record’s first single, “Ride,” features Atlanta emcee Ludacris and was released in April.  The track has reached as high as number six on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
