Tila Tequila isn’t taking a shot at rehab after all. RadarOnline.com reports that the 28-year-old star of the VH1 reality series “A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila” has already withdrawn from VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,” which is scheduled to begin shooting later this month. An insider says VH1 producers are not happy about Tequila’s decision to quit. She had joined the cast of the show in order to deal with what she recently admitted is an addiction to sleeping pills. The fourth season of “Celebrity Rehab” has been tough to cast. Actress Lindsay Lohan was reportedly offered a spot, which she turned down. The “New York Daily News” reported last week that VH1 producers were trying to snag tennis player Jennifer Capriati to fill one of the spots on the show. The athlete overdosed on prescription medication last month.
The cast of VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew” will feature MTV’s “Laguna Beach” star Jason Wahler and “Playboy” Playmate Shauna Sand. “Radar” reports “Party Of Five” actor Jeremy London has already checked in to Dr. Drew Pinsky’s rehab facility, The Pasadena Recovery Center.
