Rick Ross will be celebrating the release of his new album, “Teflon Don,” with a few of his famous friends tonight. AllHipHop.com is reporting that Ross will be joined by stars like Sean “Diddy” Combs and DJ Khaled for an album release party at Miami, Florida’s King of Diamonds nightclub. Prior to the party, Def Jam and Ross’ Maybach Music Group will host a meet and greet and album signing at a Best Buy in Pembroke Pines. Following the meet and greet, Ross will take part in a private meeting with some of his most devoted fans. Rick Ross’ “Teflon Don” is the follow-up to his 2009 release “Deeper Than Rap,” which opened at number one on the Billboard 200.
The emcee’s not worried about matching “Deeper Than Rap’s” success, saying you always have to push yourself to new levels. Ross states, quote, “It’s just about being creative, being flyer than you were yesterday. I wake up and try to do that. You got to switch the color of the stones up sometimes, go to new heights.” Rick Ross’ “Teflon Don” will feature appearances from artists like Ne-Yo, Kanye West, Jay-Z, T.I., Diddy, and Trey Songz. The record hits stores today.
