New York emcee 50 Cent returns to theaters this weekend in the new drama “Twelve.”  The film — which also stars Chace Crawford and Rory Culkin — features 50 playing the part of a drug dealer.  The role was a familiar one for “Fif,” as he used to sell drugs himself, but in a recent interview with ABC’s “The View,” he explained that his character isn’t a true representation of how he used to behave.  Fifty remarks, quote, “It’s a totally different experience for me because I’ve been away from that for a very long time.  In this actual project, the character’s actually darker.  I’ve never done anything with those motivations.”

Chace Crawford recently told MTV News that working with 50 Cent on “Twelve” was a great experience stating, quote, “I thought he might have some sort of persona he was trying to project, but he’s easygoing.  He’s not trying to create some character.  He wants to be a serious actor.  I respect it.”
