A Milwaukee, Wisconsin man is being taken to court for impersonating the manager of rap superstars Drake and Lil Wayne.  According to AllHipHop.com, Eagles Entertainment Inc. filed a lawsuit in Milwaukee County Court alleging that Joey Turner Jr. impersonated Cortez Bryant to book a show for Drake.  Turner is accused of contacting Eagles Entertainment and telling them that Drake’s asking fee was 90-thousand dollars.  Turner then allegedly collected a nine-thousand dollar deposit for a show that was supposed to take place in Milwaukee on September 1st.  Lawyers for Eagles Entertainment have argued in court documents, quote, “In making his statements said defendant knew that said statements and misrepresentations of defendant were in fact false and intentionally fraudulent.”

Eagles Entertainment is seeking 27-thousand dollars in damages, as well as lawyer and court costs.  Drake will be embarking on a series of legitimate shows when he kicks off his “Light Dreams and Nightmares” tour next month.  The trek gets underway on September 20th at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.
