Scottie Pippen and Karl Malone highlighted the Class of 2010, inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Friday. Pippen said he’s grateful for the players that came before him.
Former players Dennis Johnson and Gus Johnson, Lakers owner Jerry Buss, two-time WNBA MVP Cynthia Cooper, high school coach Bob Hurley Sr., Brazilian star Maciel Pereira and the 1960 and 1992 U.S. Olympic Teams were also enshrined in Springfield. Pippen and Malone went in twice as they were also members of the ’92 Olympic “Dream Team.”
