R&B star Faith Evans is opening up about her arrest over the weekend for DUI. The singer recently took to her Twitter page to thank her fans for their support during this difficult time. She writes, quote, “I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI. After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint. I’m fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns.” Faith Evans was arrested at a DUI checkpoint in Los Angeles last Saturday night. Evans was held by police for about four hours, while her vehicle was impounded.
Faith Evans is preparing to release her latest album, “Something About Faith.” The record is due in stores on October 5th. Evans is also reportedly working on her own reality show titled “It’s All About Faith.”
