Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie is opening up about the murder charges he is currently facing.  The emcee recently spoke with AllHipHop.com and said that his legal troubles are an issue for the entire rap industry.  He states, quote, “I’m innocent; I’m completely innocent.  My situation is one that is unjust, unfair and based on an attack against hip-hop and rap as a whole.”  Lil Boosie is currently serving a four-year sentence at the Dixon Correctional Institute for drug and gun possession.  He was indicted on first degree murder charges in June for the killing of a Baton Rouge man last year.

Despite his legal drama, Lil Boosie is still focused on his music career.  He will be releasing a new album titled “Incarcerated” on September 28th.  The rap star discussed his upcoming CD saying, quote, “My album ‘Incarcerated’ comes at a real changing point in my life.”  All the tracks on “Incarcerated” were recorded before Boosie surrendered to authorities last November.  Proceeds from the album will go to Lil Boosie’s defense fund.
